Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 to the present. Her prior role as Lebanese American teenage girl Jasira, who goes through many personal trials against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's film Towelhead. She was subsequently selected as one of Variety's Top 10 Actors to Watch in 2007. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. Alongside Lucky 7, she has also starred in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as a variety of television guest parts.
